TDA the Organization
TDA consists of 18 districts throughout the state that each have their own district association and meetings. The TDA is governed by a seven member board of directors (BOD) that is voted in a statewide election.
The BOD consists of the President, President-Elect, Past President, Secretary/Treasurer, Director-at-Large Communications, Director-at-Large District Presidents’ Council, and Chair of Delegates. http://www.eatrighttexas.org/about/leadership/board.asp .
Additionally two delegates, Public Policy Coordinator, State Policy Representative, Membership Chair, and TDA Foundation Director sit on the board. There are approximately 12 standing committees that volunteer their time to serve the TDA membership and fulfill its mission.
